On the last night of 2012 (new yearβs eve) the Lory Park white lions gave birth to 3 beautiful and healthy pure white lion cubs. This video shows the mother lioness attending to the cubs who are about 15 hours old.
Hands down, the sweetest, most intimate look at lions. It is truly amazing to watch a beast the size of that lioness so gently remove the umbilicus of her tiny cub. The care, delicacy and love is humbling. I love this clip. I wish I could give it some kind of award, but my honest praise is all I have for this tender look at a white lioness and her newborn cubs.
