Did you all know that praying mantises don’t attack upside down targets because they learned that tons of insects have defense mechanisms under their body.
Not just one of the most amazing insects I’ve ever seen, but maybe one of the most insane anything on this planet. I’ve seen only three in my lifetime and was captivated by each one. Some of God’s creatures aren’t meant to be explained, just enjoyed by their pure beauty. Love these little guys.
The way that the mantises look around as though theyβre asking for help is oddly cute and charming. Itβs like, βI might need a little help.β Large insects aren’t as creepy when they’re killing cockroaches.
That second roach was like the Floyd Mayweather of roaches. You should give them a more a robust fighting arena than a rectangular cage like that, given the roach a chance to outsmart the Mantis, drop something on it by pulling a lever etc…
